Surprise! AGM ended with a new Flat Wagon!

Sunday’s AGM was capped off in spectacular fashion with a surprise delivery from CJS Engineering, a completed flat wagon! News that the wagon was en-route to Chirk was given just hours before delivery during the AGM itself. After proceedings were completed GVT members raced from Black Park Chapel to Chirk Station where Cameron from CJS arrived shortly later.

The Flat wagon’s trailer was towed down the access ramp by Pete and his excavator where a team directed by Cameron skillfully offloaded it onto the rails. The flat will be used over the coming months to build the line up the Chirk straight by carrying sleepers and tools to where they’re needed.
